Administrative Assistant III

Job Responsibilities:

Key Job Duties Include:

  • Support department of 110 employees in day to day operation
  • Coordinate Customer visits and Business Team visits for the Fibers Department which includes interfacing with Corporate
  • Training reports/tracking – My Learning administrator for department
  • Supplies Management - Support ordering of supplies and work with suppliers to insure procurement of materials to meet various product mix of the operation
  • Analyze issues with Purchase Orders (i.e. non-payment)
  • Support Operations to include assisting with Microsoft applications, Employee Service Center issues, and payroll issues
  • Department administrator- for employee timekeeping system- Work Brain
    • Train new timekeepers on system
    • Insure operations work
      time is entered each week
    • Coordinate all technician moves and work hour changes with HR, including managing SC/FMLA approvals
  • Support Safety systems for Department-
    • Prepare lockout tags for employees
    • Coordinate department reviews
  • Office supply and printer/copier management

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Skilled oral and written communications
  • Analytical/problem solving skills
  • Ability to interface with others on multiple levels
  • Self-directed with good time and project management skills
  • Takes initiative to find creative solutions
  • Proficient training skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
  • Familiarity with Sharepoint and use of tool for document revision and management control
  • Respects Confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects and deadlines
  • Working knowledge of some type of timekeeping system (i.e. Work Brain)
  • Ability to analyze budgets
  • Familiarity with LEAN Manufacturing Tools
  • Balance directive communication while being tactful.

Starting salary mid $40’s depending on qualifications and relevant experience.
