Job Summary: Join Disney's Consumer Identity Engineering team in Seattle as a software engineering intern! This intern will embed directly with the team to advance the software that The Walt Disney Company has developed to register users, track their usage and provide them with personalized experiences across the entirety of the company and across all TWDC touch points, from Parks to ESPN, to our direct-to-consumer offerings.

Disney Seattle is a large, flourishing tech-focused office, where teams develop internet applications and services for all of the major domestic and international businesses across Disney. The office is located in the heart of downtown Seattle, near convenient public transport hubs, easy access to ferries, buses, and situated across from the iconic Seattle library.
Responsibilities:A day in the life...

This intern will develop tool to automate release process and metrics, help optimize the performance of our test automation around marketing collection, and provide automated reporting around each test run. This intern will also work to help develop tools to track engineering metrics and develop automation for release management flow. Basic Qualifications:

  • Basic coding skills in Java and experience working on databases
  • Basic coding skills in Javascript
  • Experience with or understanding of REST APIs
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Any hands-on experience with mobile development, web development or automated testing is a bonus
  • An understanding of CI/CD practices
Required Education
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and taking at least one class, or be a recent graduate of an accredited college or university within the last six (6) months at time of application, or be currently participating in the Disney College Program, Disney Culinary Program or Disney Professional Internship Program
  • Junior or senior pursuing a computer science, computer engineering, or related degree or a recent graduate within the past 6 months
