Are you a content marketing guru and a scary-good storyteller? Can you translate complex business topics, trends and opportunities into high-quality marketing content targeting a range of audiences?

Safeguard Global is looking for a Content Marketing Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will lead the content marketing strategy, development and implementation of high-value, marquee assets to grow revenue with new and existing customers. You’ll work closely with marketing, alliance, product and sales leaders, to deliver disruptive content to help accelerate business growth.

  • Natural ability to tell stories and engage customers with relevant and sticky content
  • Strong foundation in digital marketing campaign strategy, content marketing and performance measurement
  • Deep expertise in B2B marketing funnel, the buyer’s journey and marketing automation
  • Ability to effortlessly manage the entire content lifecycle in a deeply collaborative setting
  • An established track record in developing robust content strategies and content, from start to finish
  • Expert in understanding how content scales and effective content across digital channels
  • Skilled in data-driven decision making to continually optimize and improve content assets and usage
  • Excellent editorial and copywriting abilities especially outlining and writing long-form content, editing and proofreading with focused attention to detail
  • Ability to lead, organize and prioritize multiple projects and requests simultaneously
  • Customer obsessed
    and driven to understand their needs, translating that into relevant and useful content marketing material
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and functional groups in a large and complex corporate environment
  • Data-driven decision making and a growth mindset

Responsibilities
  • Build a content roadmap based on audience buyer needs for a range of audiences
  • Drive development of and oversee production for new content assets including eBooks, interactive web experiences, infographics, flipbooks, videos, email nurture streams, and more
  • Strong communication skills, especially outlining and writing long-form content
  • Strong foundation in marketing campaign strategy, content marketing and performance measurement.
  • An established track record in creating successful marketing content from start to finish
  • Strong project management skills and experience working successfully with cross-functional teams
  • Data-driven decision making and a growth mindset
  • Strong editing and proofreading skills with focused attention to detail
  • Ability to lead, organize and prioritize multiple projects and requests simultaneously
  • Manage the work of external creative agencies, including creating briefs, and managing review cycles and work-back schedules to ensure that content deadlines are met
  • Passion for customers and drive to understand buyer needs, translating that into relevant and useful content marketing
Qualifications
  • 5+ years B2B marketing experience
  • 5+ years digital marketing experience
  • Marketing communications experience is a plus
  • Candidates should demonstrate strong communications skills, sound technical knowledge, genuine interest in industry trends and an ability to forge strong internal and external -relationships
