Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and entering daily deposits . Payroll including EFTPS, quarterly reporting ,state sales tax, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in QuickBooksand Excel The accountant will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the company . prividing monthlly cash flow repoets. and assistant to the owner with financial reports as needed and supporting the and reporting.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and accounts receivable. and entering deposits
- Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports to assist management in budgeting and decision-making.
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Assist with tax preparation and filing, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Perform technical accounting tasks as needed, including journal entries and ledger maintenance.
- Collaborate with management to develop budgets and monitor expenditures against budgeted amounts.
- Maintain organized financial records for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
- Provide support during financial audits by preparing necessary documentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a accountant. 5 yrs minimum
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel 5yrs minimum experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including corporate accounting.
- Experience with payroll processing and tax compliance .
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with colleagues and clients.
- Associats degree in accounting prefered.
