The Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in supporting office operations by handling a variety of clerical and administrative tasks. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities to help keep the office efficient and productive.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and other correspondence professionally
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
- Prepare, edit, and format documents, reports, and presentations
- Maintain and update physical and electronic filing systems
- Handle office supply orders and inventory management
- Greet visitors and provide assistance as needed
- Support various departments with administrative tasks and special projects
- Assist in data entry and database management
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred
- Previous administrative experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential matters
- Detail-oriented and proactive problem solver
