We are seeking an onsite Administrative Assistant - Workers Compensation to join our Loss Control team at our Rosemont IL office.

The Administrative Assistant - Workers Compensation will monitor insurance claims, evaluate risk-related data, resolve issues with insurance carriers, and liaison with them. Responsibilities include direct contact for liability and worker's compensation, assisting the Director of Loss Control, and supporting local units with claims issues. Maintaining strict confidentiality is essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor all insurance claims thru claim management databases
  • Maintains and evaluates data concerning patient injuries, claims, worker's compensation, and other risk-related data
  • Resolves issues between insurance carriers and employees/employers
  • Serves as the organization's liaison to the organization's insurance carriers
  • Keep in direct contact with our insurance carriers for both liability and worker's compensation
  • Assist Director of Loss Control as needed
  • Supports local units in all areas of insurance claims related issues
  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality


Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with Insurance Claims and Loss Control
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent number of years administrative experience
  • Knowledge of data and administrative management practices and procedures
  • Knowledge of clerical practices and procedures
  • Computer skills and knowledge of office software packages including Microsoft Office Suite

Salary - $60k - $70k (DOE) +Bonus
