GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs the full range of administrative activities and support of the children's mental health program, including receptionist and secretarial work, filing, communications, appointment scheduling, billing/reimbursement support, eligibility, determination, support, verification of insurance support, supplies, inventory, control, and ordering, routine office, and telehealth equipment, support, scanning and importing documentation in the Electronic health records, shipping and other such duties. Constantly exercises, vigilance in maintaining confidential files and reports. In general terms, supports an efficient office system and contributes to the centers, state purpose by performing administrative support and or technical program assistance work. Integrity collaboration is essential to this position. The job requires extensive community-based service, provision, and flexible hours and scheduled to meet the demand of the client served. Administratively reports directly to the CNA clinic manager and works with guidance from the children's services director.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications to be eligible for the position:
- Graduated from an accredited high school or GD
- Two years full-time secretarial experience of increasing complexity. Experience working in a receptionist secretary related office environment.
Must possess excellent computer skills.
PREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Resides in Wilson County
- Prior working experience with mental health
- One year of experience working with at risk youth
- English/Spanish skills: demonstrated ability to read, right, and speak English and Spanish.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge, skills and abilities. Knowledge of office management principles and practices and administrative procedures and the technical program.
- Working knowledge of health-related accounting and collection procedures and use of automated data processing in such procedures., Of human resource management and office practices and a federal and state walls, government regulation, and agency rules, governing reimbursement for agency services.
- Extensive knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance practices and procedures. Knowledge of timekeeping skills relating to data entry and posting.
- Able to work with the public and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to train other clerical staff.
- Willingness to accept additional assignments/duties to ensure meeting departmental and agency needs.
- Ability to serve as a backup to other clerical positions and other duties as assigned. Skill in the use of electronic data and/or Word processing equipment and software. To implement new systems and procedures to evaluate their effectiveness, to supervise others and to effectively interpret programs and plans
