Marine Personnel Administrator
Ocean Shipholdings, Inc. – Houston TX
POSITION PURPOSE: Under the direction of the Marine Personnel Manager and/or Crewing Supervisor, the Marine Personnel Administrator would have the following General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Update crew information in databases (scanning and loading documents)
- Respond to unemployment claims / security clearance requests
- Complete online New Hire reports as required
· Assists other staff members with other duties as assigned
· Drug and Alcohol Consent Forms to Prior Employers
· New Hire Reporting
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
· Three years of work experience including clerical duties
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Good analytical skills.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Applications.
- Ability to work as a team.
Candidate is subject to a required pre-employment drug screen and random drug testing during the course of employment.
Reports to: Marine Personnel Manager
Position is Monday – Friday. Work Hours are 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Friday.
