Overview
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Admission Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in guiding prospective students through the admission process, providing them with the information they need to make informed decisions about their educational journey. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education administration and a commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals.
Duties
- Educate prospective students about the university's programs, admission requirements, and campus resources.
- Conduct presentations and public speaking engagements to promote the university and its offerings.
- Assist in recruiting efforts by attending college fairs, community events, and other outreach activities.
- Provide academic advising to prospective students, helping them understand their options and navigate the admission process.
- Utilize Ellucian software to manage student records and track admissions data effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments within the university to ensure a seamless transition for incoming students.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational trends and changes in admission policies.
Experience
- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with education administration processes and best practices is highly desirable.
- Experience in recruiting or admissions roles is a plus.
- Strong public speaking skills and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- A background in academic advising or counseling is beneficial.
