Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Architectural Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing innovative architectural designs and drafting plans that meet client specifications and project requirements. This role requires proficiency in various design software and a strong understanding of architectural principles. The Architectural Designer will collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to bring projects from concept to completion.
Duties
- Develop detailed architectural drawings and designs using software such as Rhinoceros 3D, MicroStation, Sketchup, ArchiCAD, and SolidWorks.
- Create 2D animations to visualize design concepts for clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs meet functional, aesthetic, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project feasibility.
- Prepare presentations and design proposals for client meetings.
- Utilize Bluebeam for document management and collaboration on project drawings.
- Assist in mechanical design aspects of projects as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and technologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in architectural design software including Rhinoceros 3D, MicroStation, Sketchup, ArchiCAD, SolidWorks, and Bluebeam.
- Strong drafting skills with an emphasis on detail and accuracy.
- Experience in mechanical design is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively about design challenges.
- A portfolio showcasing previous work is highly desirable.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 40 per week
