Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Asphalt Roller to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to ensure the proper compaction of asphalt and other materials during paving projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes and the ability to work effectively on various job sites.
Responsibilities
- Operate asphalt rollers and other heavy equipment to compact asphalt and other materials.
- Collaborate with crew members to ensure quality control during paving operations.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including the installation of rebar and concrete forming.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with asphalt rollers.
- Familiarity with concrete mixers, paving techniques, and concrete pumping operations is preferred.
- Previous construction site experience is essential, with knowledge of concrete finishing and forming.
- Mechanical knowledge is necessary for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Experience operating loaders, excavators, dump trucks, and other commercial vehicles is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards on the job site.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
