Job Summary/Basic Function
Responsible for assisting the Chief Audit Executive. Performs financial, operational, and compliance audits of the university's processes and functions in accordance with accepted professional standards. Responsible for training audit staff in required audit procedures. Audit activities also include management advisory services, system reviews, personnel development, and special studies or investigations.
Required Education
Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting required.
Required Related Experience
Four or more years of recent full time employment in a responsible auditing position or public accounting firm. One of the total four years must be in a supervisory capacity.
Required License/Registration/Certification
Certified Public Accountant or Certified Internal Auditor.
Desirable Related Experience
Internal audit, or higher education.
Desirable License/Registration/Certification
CPA and CIA and CFE.
