Job Summary
THINK Coffee is seeking an enthusiastic & dependable Assistant Manager to join our leadership team in Cabot, AR! The ideal candidate is a natural leader with a passion for great coffee, a heart for people, and a drive to support team growth. As Assistant Manager, you’ll work closely with the Location Manager to ensure daily operations run smoothly and that our baristas are well-trained, supported, and thriving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Location Manager in overseeing all aspects of daily café operations
- Lead barista training and development to uphold THINK Coffee’s service and quality standards
- Support team scheduling, shift coverage, and time management needs
- Provide on-the-floor leadership during shifts to ensure excellent customer service
- Help monitor inventory, maintain cleanliness, and ensure health & safety compliance
- Act as a point of contact for team communication and conflict resolution
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment
- Step into leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Location Manager
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in coffee or food service, with some leadership or supervisory experience required
- Strong communication and team-building skills
- Ability to train and coach team members with patience and clarity
- Dependable, organized, and solutions-oriented
- Passionate about coffee and community
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including some weekends
Availability:
This is a 25–35 hour per week position. Weekend availability is a must, as weekends are a busy and vital time for our shop. That said, we value work-life balance and strive to be flexible—you’re absolutely welcome to request some weekends off as needed. We just ask that you understand and support the needs of a weekend-centered business.
