What We're Looking For:
- Plan and Specification Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction plans to support accurate bid takeoffs and project preparation.
- Organizational Excellence: Skilled at reviewing, logging, and distributing RFQs, bulletins, and updated plan sets to the correct team members.
- Documentation Expertise: Experience drafting installation packets and preparing complete plan packages for field crews and project managers.
- Industry Familiarity: Background in signage, construction, or related project support roles preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PDF markup tools (e.g., Bluebeam or Adobe), and general project tracking software.
- Bid Support: Assist estimators by reviewing plans and performing takeoffs to ensure competitive and accurate proposals.
Project Kickoff: Organize and prepare new job start-up materials, ensuring all project information is up to date and distributed promptly.
Documentation and Coordination: Draft install packets, review hardware and equipment needs, and maintain clear, organized records throughout the project lifecycle.
Information Management: Track RFQs, bulletins, and plan revisions, keeping the correct people informed of any changes.
Submittal Tracking: Monitor and log the status of all project submittals, ensuring timely responses, approvals, and proper communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Cross-Team Support: Collaborate with Estimating, Project Management, and Design to keep projects moving efficiently and accurately.
