Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations of our property management team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a keen understanding of property management practices. This role involves assisting in the management of residential or commercial properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maintaining property standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of property operations, including maintenance, leasing, and tenant relations.
- Handle tenant inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Support the leasing process by conducting property showings and upselling available units to prospective tenants.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, lease agreements, and property maintenance requests.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors for property maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of reports related to property performance and occupancy rates.
- Help enforce property rules and regulations while managing conflicts effectively among tenants.
- Provide administrative support related to real estate transactions, including legal documentation as required.
Experience
- Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with facilities management practices is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on conflict management and resolution.
- Knowledge of real estate administrative processes and legal requirements is a plus.
- Proficiency in office software applications to manage documentation efficiently.
