We are looking for a Assistant Retail Store Manager at our Faribault, MN store location at the Mill. The ideal candidate will enjoy interacting with people and providing unparalleled customer service. This unique position be responsible for day-to-day support and operation of the store, in partnership with the Retail Store Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Engaging with customers daily in person at the retail store
- Responsible for supporting the sales goals set by Leadership and the Store Manager
- Assist in educating customers and clients on the history of the Mill, by providing tours
- Responsible for supporting and managing the retail store team members
- Accountable for all scheduling of the Faribault Mill Retail Store employees
- Responsible for all duties related to opening and closing the retail store
- Respond to all customer service inquiries through phone, email, and website support
- Manage and develop special events for the Mill Retail Store
- Merchandising the product line at the store, identifying the ideal design for the most effective flow shopping experience for customers
- Participate in the local community by developing relationships with the local chamber of commerce, businesses, and community groups
- Support the office and business leaders of the Mill, related to events and other support tasks
Required Skills:Bottom of Form
- 2+ years of experience working in a retail store
- Experience with merchandising within a specialty retail store
- Strong spatial reasoning skills for merchandising purposes
- Previous experience leading team members
- Strong communication skills, with internal and external customers
- High attention to detail within the store and organizational skills
- Strong understanding of sales and working from a sales quota
- Experience working with all customer services-related issues
- Ability to be a self-starter, take the initiative to deal with issues, and complete tasks in a timely manner
