Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will work closely with lead teachers to support students in their learning journey, particularly focusing on children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities and autism. This role is essential in fostering a positive classroom environment that promotes childhood development and literacy education.
Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Support students with disabilities, including behavior management strategies tailored to individual needs.
- Facilitate small group instruction in subjects such as math and literacy education.
- Help maintain a structured and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and needs.
- Participate in the planning and execution of educational activities that promote childhood development.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to adapt lessons for diverse learners, ensuring inclusivity within the private school setting.
Skills
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly autism, is highly valued.
