Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves planning and implementing engaging educational activities that promote learning through play while ensuring the safety and well-being of each child.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Provide care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
- Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and any concerns.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a cohesive learning experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Qualifications
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Previous preschool or daycare experience is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is a plus.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage young learners effectively.
- First aid certification is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain is essential.
- Experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial.
