Wanted: Associate Criminal Defense Attorney
Associate Attorneys have one to five years of licensed experience in Texas. This position is based in Kerrville and includes some travel for court settings.
What does an Associate Criminal Defense Attorney do?
Our associates work on complex criminal cases statewide, with this position focusing on Kerrville and the surrounding areas. Typical cases include murder, first-degree felonies, violent offenses, Federal work, drug possession, and some Driving While Intoxicated cases.
This position includes a heavy focus on courtroom advocacy and trial skills.
Who should apply for this job?
You should have solid criminal courtroom experience, including successfully trying cases to a verdict. Experience as a defense attorney is a plus, but not required. Experience in Kerrville-area criminal courts is a plus.
You should have strong writing skills and be able to litigate novel issues.

How much money will this person make?
Base salary of $90,000 to $110,000 annually depending on experience. Benefits include annual bonus, origination commission, paid time off, health insurance, holidays, and 401K plan with partial employer match.
