Reporting to the Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs (RA), Global Patient Safety (GPS), and Development Quality (DQ) the Associate Director will be responsible for supporting strategic activities including team communications, objective and goal setting, quarterly reporting, resource and budget management, cross-functional activities as assigned.

This role is accountable for collaborating with all the RA, GPS and DQ functions and, as required, facilitates the execution of strategic objectives:
The Associate Director will interface broadly across RA, GPS, and DQ to support planning and strategic communication. This involves working with the Senior Director to facilitate meetings, communications, colleague engagement activities, and team events, including preparing agendas, organizing meeting materials, tracking actions and deliverables, and ensuring timely follow-up.
Ensures appropriate communication cascade within/outside the organization in partnership with Corporate Communications and RA, PS, DQ Chief of Staff
This role might be for you if you can/have:
Provides support in resource management, strategic planning, and the development and implementation of key initiatives.
As assigned: Working with the Senior Director to participate with strategic planning of annual functional reviews to further optimize efficiencies
May assist with other company-wide initiatives as assigned, particularly those supporting RA, GPS, and DQ (Community of Practice groups).

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following:
8-10 years of pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience relevant planning and operations experience in global development area and specific industry experience in managing and providing oversight of a operational and planning team.
Minimum BA/BS in business, marketing, finance, science/technology, or related field. Advanced Degree is preferred but not required; MS/PhD or MBA with experience working within a science-based organization /function, or in Physical, or Life Sciences.
