About A&B Family Therapy Professional Corporation
We specialize in treating clients with trauma and provide services to: individuals, couples, and families. We are seeking therapists interested in deepening their clinical work, learning trauma as a specialty, and are willing to work well independently in a small group practice setting. Ideal candidates have a high work ethic, is self-directed, has the ability to continue to learn new skills and apply them in a clinical setting, are flexible, have great interpersonal skills, have excellent communication skills (listens and conveys needs both verbally and written), works independently, respectful of office guidelines, and is overall inspired by owning their own private practice post licensure. Our clients deserve a therapist that is well trained, who can listen and reflect back to them the therapeutic process. Our clients also deserve a therapist who can show up for them and model authentic behaviors where they do not cause harm to themselves or others. Our clients want therapists who are authentic, consistent, and who ultimately care about the therapeutic relationship. Work Schedule:
- M-F; Weekends (Flexible as per client schedule) The position is an hourly W-2, part-time (Max 20hrs per week)

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Completed graduate degree in Counseling Psychology
- Currently working towards clinical hours for licensure and resides in California near Sunnyvale, CA
- Must hold your own professional liability insurance
- Must attend weekly Clinical Supervision as it pertains to the BBS Requirements and Clinical Agreement
- Must be willing to provide therapy in the office and through Telehealth
- Willing to learn and apply trauma modalities as a specialty
- Must be willing to learn our methods of treatment (in private practice setting), how to acquire and sustain a good flow of clientele focused on trauma treatments
- Culturally competent or willing to participate in trainings
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in Counseling Psychology or equivalent Some trauma work or a high learning curve for learning and applying in practice
License/Certification:
- Proof of Associate Number and Registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (*This is a BBS requirement to begin work in a private practice setting)
- Malpractice Insurance Declarations page (Required)

Salary
$35 - $38 per hour
