About the Role
As an Associate Justice Principal, you will play a key role in shaping the direction of the Justice sector within the region while contributing to our growing Civic and Justice Sector. We are looking for a motivated and skilled professional with the drive to expand our client base and enhance our strong reputation.
Your responsibilities will include business development, leading pursuits, managing project teams, and strengthening client relationships—from initial engagement through project execution. This role is a steppingstone to becoming a Justice Principal, offering opportunities to grow your leadership skills and industry expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership Responsibilities:
- In coordination with the local Justice Principal, contribute to the leadership and visioning for the Justice sector in the local area / region.
- Assist local Justice Principal and leadership in reaching net fees booked goals.
- Contribute to or lead capture plans, qualifications, and proposals for Justice clients / pursuits.
- Contribute to or lead interview strategies and implementation.
- Learn / lead internal HDR marketing processes, such as GNG, Fee Development/Approval, risk awareness and data maintenance.
- Serve as Project Manager (or other roles as appropriate) on projects and prepare / negotiate project contracts.
- Maintain project oversight throughout execution, including conformance to client expectations for technical/quality, financial performance, and schedule adherence.
- Interface with clients proactively, by engaging them regularly through multiple channels. Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to Justice staff and project teams.
- In collaboration with Justice subject matter experts, and independently when appropriate, develop abstracts and presentations for industry conferences, seminars, workshops, and other similar events promoting sector messages, research, project outcomes, lessons learned, trends, etc.
- Actively cultivate of a network of industry partners for intelligence gathering and strategic development.
- Regular engagement in local relevant industry organizations

- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 10 years related experience
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience
- Familiar with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software, project management software
- Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
