Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. Duties
- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose any medical conditions.
- Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments as needed.
- Perform surgical procedures with precision and care while adhering to sterile techniques.
- Provide guidance on pet care and nutrition to pet owners.
- Utilize veterinary terminology effectively in communication with staff and clients.
- Handle animals safely using appropriate restraint techniques to ensure their comfort and safety during examinations or procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients, documenting treatments and progress.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
- Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Experience
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school is required.
- Previous experience in animal care or veterinary practice is preferred but not mandatory for new graduates.
- Excellent communication skills and the heart of a servant to clients and staff.
- Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, handling techniques, and veterinary terminology is essential.
