Job Description
Athletics Ticket Office Representatives are responsible for assisting the Director of Ticket Operations and Assistant Athletic Director for Ticket Operations with all aspects of ticket operations for athletic events. Ohio University Athletics ticketed events include Football, Volleyball, Men’s Basketball and Women’s Basketball. Representatives are expected to arrive promptly for their scheduled report time and work until the assigned duties have been completed. There are approximately fifty (50) ticketed athletic events throughout the Fall and Spring semesters. Representatives will have the opportunity to work multiple events (based on availability) but will be required to work Football and Men’s Basketball events.
Responsibilities:
  • Represent the Athletic Department in a professional manner and provide exceptional customer service to fans attending athletic events.
  • Operate handheld ticket scanners to validate tickets for entry into ticketed athletics events.
  • Staff will call and/or ticket sales windows
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications
  • Current Ohio University Student
  • Must be available to work evenings and weekends
  • Able to work in all weather conditions and stand for a maximum of 4-5 hours with minimal breaks.
  • Outgoing personality and willingness to engage/converse with patrons
  • Previous cash handling and credit card processing experience is beneficial but not required
