Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Glass /ADAS Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of automotive glass components.
In this role you will be performing Auto-glass and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assist Systems) related services for body shops and collision centers across the York-Lancaster-Lebanon and Dauphin county areas. this role can include paid-apprenticeship if candidate is proficient in some but not all skill sets.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation and replacement of automotive glass, including windshields, side windows, and rear windows.
- Remove and reinstall side and rear glasses without damage to the part or vehicle
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete glass installations and repairs.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess damage and determine necessary repairs.
- Assemble components as needed during the glass installation process.
- Diagnose, document and repair ADAS systems such as radar based advanced cruice contol modules and ultra sonic parking sensors
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Document vehicles post-installation/ repair to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) technology.
Skills
- Proficiency in glass installation techniques and familiarity with automotive repair processes.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience using diagnostic scan tools or OE programs.
- Ability to perform vehicle maintenance tasks as required.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Previous experience working in a dealership environment is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $19.17 - $25.00 per hour
