We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Glass Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of automotive glass components. Duties
- Install, repair, and replace automotive glass in vehicles, including windshields, side windows, and rear windows.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete glass installations and repairs.
- Conduct thorough inspections of glass components to identify any issues or necessary repairs.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle parts as needed for glass installation.
- Perform window tinting services as required by customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks related to glass components.
- Lift heavy materials safely and efficiently during the installation process.
Skills
- Proficient in automotive repair techniques with hands-on experience in glass installation.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive issues.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools effectively in an automotive setting.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installations (up to 50 pounds).
- Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures related to glass components is advantageous.
- Familiarity with window tinting techniques is a plus.
