Role Summary/Purpose:
The AVP, B2B Commercialization Analytics position will play an integral role partnering with GTM teams to support the marketing and sales organizations within Synchrony. This role will be instrumental in developing impactful analytics and decision support tools leveraging Salesforce platforms and boarder B2B ecosystem.
The focus of this role is on transforming data into the vital insights and analytics decision support tools necessary to drive clear action. This individual will gain a broad understanding of B2B processes and business strategies across all business platforms and will partner with teams across the entire B2B lifecycle experience. The successful candidate will influence the business utilizing data, analytics tools, insights and recommendations that drive growth.

Essential Responsibilities:
Develop analytics frameworks and templates within the Salesforce ecosystem
Engage with GTM, sales, marketing leadership teams to understand their strategic priorities and identify opportunities, support their business needs
Understand key B2B acquisition and lifecycle processes to identify opportunities for improvement and build solutions within the Salesforce platform
Develop analytics decision support tools utilizing Tableau, Salesforce CRM-A, etc.
Support portfolio teams as needed on an ongoing basis
Utilize Salesforce CRM-A machine learning capabilities to help drive insights and business actions around opportunities such as:
Acquisition lead scoring, propensity to close
Merchant and provider attrition
Develop and optimize sales territory coverage
Building segmentations to support business needs
Act as a B2B analytics subject matter expert, commercialize B2B analytics capability via deep understanding of our B2B data, infrastructure and processes
Mine and connect B2B data to enable insights
Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports, dashboards within the B2B environment
Develop and deliver FAQ types of user tools
Additional projects as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in analytics or business-related field, or in lieu of bachelor’s degree, high school diploma and 9+ years of progressive work experience.
5+ years of analytics experience to include:
2+ years of experience with SQL, SAS, or other advanced programming language such as C++, Python, or R
2+ years of experience working with B2B data in a relational database environment
2+ years of experience in dashboarding and report building with data visualization tools
Desired Characteristics:
Advanced degree preferred
Experience using Tableau is preferred
Experience and working knowledge of Salesforce and Einstein/CRM-A
Experience working in an Agile framework environment
Demonstrated ability with project management tools and techniques
Experience influencing senior leadership to make data-focused business decisions
Pro-active self-starter who thrives on independently seeking out information that may not be readily available
Proven ability to think strategically, synthesize diverse information and identify business opportunities
Grade/Level: 11
The salary range for this position is 115,000.00 - 200,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.
Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.
Eligibility Requirements:
You must be 18 years or older
You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process
You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles. Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles. Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post. All internal employees must consistently meet performance expectations and have approval from your manager to post (or the approval of your manager and HR if you don’t meet the time in position or performance expectations).
