Love sweets? Us too! and we're looking to expand the Lucky's Bakehouse family. (We're hiring!) Now seeking a baker and cake decorator at the Bakehouse: paid time off and a sweet in-store discount. Thursday-Saturday morning shifts!
Must have professional cake decorating experience! Responsibilities include sharing a love for food and a passion for inspiring and educating our customer about our baked in-house goods. Must appreciate the stress, joy, and satisfaction of engaging with and feeding the public.
Team player attitude and cleanliness partnered with the ability to work morning shifts and weekends are requirements for this position! Pay range includes tips. Base pay is $18 an hour plus an additional $4-6 an hour from tip share.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Baking and decorating cakes, pastry items and cookie from recipes.
- Stocks Bakehouse; includes presentation of product and organization of all product items.
- Responds positively to customer’s inquiries and assists customers with purchases, information and product selection; requires selling and cross selling of products as well as taking detailed special orders.
- Ensures cleanliness of bakery displays and work area for safety; includes cleaning of shelves and products, keeping floors free of liquid spills or water, removing hazardous debris from floor and sweeping.
- Sustains a high level of product knowledge and product preparation.
- Walks department regularly to ensure an organized, sanitary, and overall clean appearance at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
