Job Summary
We are seeking an upbeat and curious SOURDOUGH baking Assistant to join our dynamic team in the sourdough bagel industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food production and a willingness to learn various aspects of sourdough baking and schmear making.
Duties
- Assist in baking and shaping of bagels. Preparation of Schmears (cream cheese spreads)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Help manage inventory by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies.
Skills
- Experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred, baking even better
- Time Management Skills
- Basic skills in baking, specifically sourdough is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn new skills related to cooking and food handling.
