The Hilton Garden Inn Prescot Downtown and Event Center at Sam Hill Warehouse are searching for a professional Banquet Captain/Supervisor
Looking for an organized, detail oriented person who can manage a team and is an expert in banquet operations including:
- Set up of tables, chairs, linens, napkins, china, glass, silver, etc.
- Order and organize linens and supplies.
- Understand banquet standards of service.
- Ensure events run smoothly.
- Read and understand Banquet Event Orders.
- Coordinate with the Sales Director and Banquet Manager on event set up in the hotel and the Sam Hill Warehouse.
- Manage multifaceted events with a calm and helpful demeanor.
- Coach a banquet team to exceed customer expectations.
- Learn to operate all hotel-owned audio visual systems and explain operations to customers.
- Ensure the Event Center is cleaned and cared for.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
