Hartville Kitchen Restaurant is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Banquet Maintenance & Setup/Tear Down Associate. This role is essential in ensuring our event spaces are clean, organized, and ready for a variety of functions, from weddings to corporate meetings. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong organizational skills, and take pride in creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere for our guests.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Setup & Tear Down

Arrange tables, chairs, linens, decorations, and equipment according to event specifications and diagrams.

Dismantle and store furniture, decor, and equipment after events promptly and safely.

Ensure proper storage of all materials and report any damaged items to management.


  • Maintenance & Cleanliness:

Maintain the cleanliness of banquet rooms, hallways, storage areas, and back-of-house areas before, during, and after events.

Vacuum floors.

Empty trash and recycling bins, ensure proper disposal.

Perform light maintenance duties.


  • Logistics Coordination:

Collaborate with the banquet and kitchen teams to ensure proper timing and flow for event setups and breakdowns.

Respond quickly and effectively to last-minute changes or special requests.


  • Safety & Compliance:

Adhere to safety protocols for lifting, moving, and operating equipment.

Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations.


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in event setup/maintenance or hospitality preferred but not required.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work a varying schedule, including mornings, evenings, Saturdays, and some holidays.
  • Team player with proactive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Must be 18 years of age for this position.
