Position Overview:
As a Banquet Server at The Legend Clubs, you ensure the success of events by delivering exceptional service to our guests. With your warm hospitality and attention to detail, you play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests. This dynamic and fast-paced position offers flexibility in scheduling and the opportunity to be part of a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Work as a member of a team during events, providing attentive and efficient service to guests.
- Serve food and beverages with professionalism and grace, adhering to established service standards.
- Pass appetizers and clear plates promptly, maintaining a clean and organized dining area throughout the event.
- Set tables according to event specifications, including arranging table settings and polishing silverware to create an inviting atmosphere.
- Assist in setting the room for events, ensuring all details are attended to for a seamless guest experience.
- Welcome guests warmly, engaging with them to enhance their event experience and address any questions or requests.
- Educate patrons about menu offerings and make creative recommendations, utilizing suggestive selling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Work quickly and efficiently, collaborating with team members to solve problems and ensure smooth event execution.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Prior experience in banquet service or a related field preferred, but not required; enthusiasm and a passion for hospitality are valued.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and courteously with guests and team members.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to adapt to changing situations and handle challenges with poise.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a positive attitude and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
Flexibility to work part-time hours, primarily on weekends, to accommodate the demands of event scheduling.
