Job Summary
Don Coqui Edgewater is seeking an energetic and experienced Barback to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Barback plays a crucial role in supporting bartenders by ensuring the bar is well-stocked, clean, and organized.
Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, including liquor, beer, wine, and glassware.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Help prepare garnishes and mixers for cocktails.
- Support the setup and breakdown of bar service for events or busy shifts.
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and responding to their needs.
Skills
- Experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred.
- Familiarity with bartending practices and cocktail preparation is a plus.
- Strong cleaning skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining a tidy workspace.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with guests and team members.
- Willingness to learn about beverages, service techniques, and food handling practices.
