We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting café environment, and ensuring that every customer has a positive experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for order processing and cash handling.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, dining areas, and equipment.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all customers.
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to create a friendly and efficient work environment.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food service or café industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
