We are seeking an experienced, passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in a vibrant café environment. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your role will be integral in creating memorable experiences for our customers while showcasing your skills in coffee preparation and food service.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items with precision and attention to detail.
- Operate the POS system efficiently to process customer orders and handle transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including workstations, equipment, and dining spaces.
- Assist in food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and proper handling techniques.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction with their orders.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support each other during shifts.
Experience
- Must have previous experience in coffee service or café settings.
- Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Experience using SQUARE POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
- Strong math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to balance multiple tasks efficiently.
- A genuine passion for coffee culture and customer service is essential.
