French Cafe Barista
Job Summary and Mission: To provide high quality coffee, French pastries, and bakery items in an upscale cafe.
Responsibilities, essential job functions and qualifications include but are not limited to the following:
· Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume
· Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues
· Communicates to the supervisor team what is needed in order to provide the best possible experience for the customers
· Contributes to positive team environment by recognizing any changes in the store environment or inventory levels and communicating to the supervisors or owner
· Delivers amazing customer service and high quality pastries and sandwiches to all customers
· Helps keep the store clean and organized
· On time and in dress code consistent attendance
· Assist with food preparation – sandwich station and other FOH food duties
· Available to work flexible hours which may include early mornings, weekends, and holidays
· Must be able to follow store operating procedures for safety, cleanliness, cash handling etc.
· Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift
Must be able to learn quickly, carry out written and verbal instructions, build relationships and work effectively as part of a team
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
