Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Duties:
- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, espresso, and specialty drinks
- Operate cash register and handle customer transactions accurately
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering any questions or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, including restocking supplies as needed
- Follow all food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of food products
- Assist with food preparation as required
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Proficient in operating cash registers and handling cash transactions
- Familiarity with Square POS system is a plus
- Strong mathematical skills for accurate cash handling and order processing
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
