Job Description: We're seeking a passionate Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team! In this role, you'll work closely with children and families in their home, delivering Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. You'll play a vital role as a mental health technician in implementing behavior-based treatment plans, educating parents, and conducting data collection in behavioral health. Responsibilities:
- Work effectively with children
- Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Clinical Director
- Conduct comprehensive data collection and maintain session reports
- Implement behavior-based treatment plans
- Educate parents on classroom support techniques
- Ensure safety and quality care for clients
- Establish professional relationships with parents, colleagues, and community resources
- Maintain training materials and supplies
- Advocate for children and families, facilitating referrals to community resources
- Uphold dress and grooming standards
- Perform other duties as assigned, including cleanup and incident reporting
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Experience with children and strong people skills
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
- Ability to lift 30 lbs. regularly
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
- Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders preferred, but not required (training provided)
- Experience Behavioral health preferred, but not required (training provided)
Job Type: Part-Time
Salary: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Schedule: 10 -20 Weekly hours Flexible
Tuesday - Friday 3-6pm / Sunday Availability
Work Location: In-Person / Clients Home
