Bilingual Business Immigration Paralegal (Spanish-English)
Location: Alexandria, Virginia (In-person only NO hybrid and NO telework)
Pay: $52,000 a year (based on experience, certifications, and language skills)
Schedule: Full-time Monday through Friday 9 am to 6 pm (NO part time)

Torrez and Sanchez, PLLC is a growing immigration law firm in Alexandria, VA committed to helping clients navigate the legal system with clarity, respect, and compassion.
We’re currently hiring a bilingual business immigration paralegal fluent in both Spanish and English to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 1 year of business immigration experience, especially individuals passionate about immigration law.
About the Role
You'll play a vital role in supporting the Senior Associate Attorney in both nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions with USCIS, DOS NVC and DOL ETA. We're a small, collaborative law firm where each team member is valued.
We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds, including first-generation professionals and those with personal or family immigration experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Weekly communication with the business immigration clients whether through in person meetings, email and/or by phone (Spanish and English)
- Translate legal documents between Spanish and English
- Draft immigration forms (I-140s, H-1Bs, NIWs, TNs, PERM, PWDs, LCAs)
- Schedule appointments and manage the attorney’s calendar
- Draft client correspondence and maintain organized digital/physical files
- Perform general office tasks (data entry, supply ordering, light cleaning)
- Manage basic office errands as needed (take filings to post office)
- Assist with legal research and case preparation under attorney supervision
Qualifications
- Fluent in both Spanish and English (required)
- Any additional language is a plus (e.g., Arabic, French, Hindi, Urdu, Russian)
- Minimum 1 year of business immigration experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with online legal platforms
- Excellent time management skills, work under pressure and attention to detail
- Professional demeanor with ability to handle several cases at the same time
