Description

JOB TITLE: Children’s Community Mental Health Clinician, Exempt

DEPARTMENT: Program Services

LOCATION: Mission Clubhouse

REPORTS TO: Director of Behavioral Health

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Working for Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco gives you the chance to be part of a dynamic and passionate movement that is out to change the world - starting right here in our community. Founded in 1891, our organization has 130 years of experience in the field; however, we continue to find new ways to learn, grow, and innovate. We are nationally recognized for the high-quality of our programs and comprehensive approach to serving youth. Whether you’re joining our administrative team, a Clubhouse team, a school-based team, or our Camp Mendocino team, you’ll be surrounded by enthusiastic, talented, and passionate colleagues who wake up every day ready to inspire young people to reach their full potential.

The Children’s Community Mental Health Clinician (CCMHC) will provide direct service, paraprofessional staff consultation, training and support for the afterschool youth development program. We seek a licensed or license-eligible clinician to serve as our CCMHC in a non-traditional, mental health setting, using an anti-racist, trauma-informed, community social work model. Our setting requires formal mental health skills (case management, assessment, individual & family therapy, referrals, etc.) and informal behavioral coaching, social emotional support, youth development and skill development. We are designed to bring mental health services to communities that wouldn't normally access support and are seeking a professional who will commit to the community. This is a Full Time Exempt position located in San Francisco and includes benefits.
