## Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Dental Billing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Dental billing processes and be familiar with managed care and HIPAA regulations.
## Duties
- Process and submit dental claims to insurance companies
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
- Review and update patient billing information
- Communicate with healthcare providers, patients, and insurance companies regarding billing issues
- Maintain confidentiality of medical records and patient information
- Assist in resolving billing discrepancies
Enter EOB's and appeal denials.
## Skills
### Required Skills:
- Knowledge of managed care and HIPAA regulations
- Knowledge of Insurance verification & Dental billing
- Familiarity with dental terminology and office procedures
### Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in Dentrix Ascend
- Previous work experience in a Dental office as a biller at least for 1 year is a MUST.
