Biomed Repair Technician

Med One Group, a leader in the medical equipment finance industry for over 25 years, is seeking a Biomed Repair Technician to join our team of experts assembling, maintaining, and repairing various pieces medical equipment at our El Cajon, CA location. This is a full-time position Monday-Friday 10AM-6:30PM. Compensation, depending on experience, $25-$35 per hour.
Essential Functions
- Tests the functionality of equipment and takes accuracy, sensitivity, and selectivity measurements.
- Must be quick and efficient in assembling, cleaning, calibrating, repairing, and maintaining various pieces of medical equipment.
- Able to complete courses and certifications suggested by supervisor to ensure competency and expertise in servicing of equipment.
- Working in a team oriented, hardworking, and supportive atmosphere where everyone works hard to complete work assignments.
- Ability to assist with delivering and/or shipment of medical equipment to a hospital as additional support when needed.
- This is a full-time, non-exempt position working 40 hours per week. Some overtime may be required based on workload.
Job Requirements
- 4-5 years repairing/working with medical equipment; specifically, infusion pumps, patient monitors, ventilators, hospital/bariatric beds.
- Able to read schematics and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

- Dependable and highly self-motivated
- Associates degree in electronics
