Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and will be responsible for assessing, designing, and implementing behavior intervention plans for children with developmental disabilities. This role requires a commitment to improving patient care through evidence-based practices and collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the needs of clients and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement and monitor behavior intervention strategies based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Collect and analyze data to track progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistent implementation of behavioral strategies across settings.
- Provide training and support to staff on behavioral techniques and best practices in special education.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress.
- Stay current with research in the field of behavioral therapy and apply findings to improve patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities or special needs.
- Strong knowledge of data collection methods and ability to analyze data effectively.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to patient care and assessment.
- Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation techniques relevant to behavioral analysis.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with families and team members.
- A background in special education is preferred but not mandatory.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of applied behavior analysis.
