Working Relationship: Reports to the Body Shop Lead Technician
Reports Generated: Completes all work orders accurately and legibly, to insure proper input of information into the EMS system
Responsibilities:
· Repairs vehicles per estimate and work order, according to manufacturer standards.
· Checks parts against estimate to insure correct parts and supplies are available to complete the assignment on time
· Prepares vehicle for body repair work
· Notifies Trailer Shop Lead of any additional repairs or parts that may be needed
· Notifies Trailer Shop Lead of any difficulties that may prevent a quality job from being completed or cause a change in the anticipated completion time
· Maintains tools and equipment in a proper state of repair.
· Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer.
· Complies with all rules, regulations, and laws pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials. It is your responsibility to report to the Lead or to management any issues regarding safety.
· Assists other body shop personnel in the repair and preparation for repair of all vehicles
· Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner
· Maintaining and helping to improve a safe and clean work area while assisting with the clean-up of the entire shop is expected.
Education: High School or Equivalent, Technical School preferred
Training or Skills Needed: Minimum of 2 years related body repair work in a shop environment
Summary: In conclusion, the main responsibility of the Body Shop Technician is to perform all duties in a high quality, safe manner. The completed work must meet all safety rules and regulations set forth by Navajo Express and the Department of Transportation guidelines, to insure the safety of our drivers and the motoring public.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
