Job Description
Under the direction of the Director of Booking, the Booking Coordinator supports the Columbus Arena Sports & Entertainment booking department which consists of the Schottenstein Center, Nationwide Arena, Mershon Auditorium and special events at Ohio Stadium. This position will become part of the settlement rotation, as directed by the Director of Booking, for the arenas and theater as well as assist in settlement of stadium shows. The coordinator will provide administrative support to the department by generating reports, creating meeting agendas, conducting market analysis to assist in identifying business development opportunities, assist in the hiring and training of the booking interns. They will also assist in responding to booking inquiries as well as provide oversight into the creation and management of booking and settlement data and files. They will be responsible for the upkeep of department spreadsheets and calendar research. This position will be expected to work nights and weekends.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 0 years of relevant experience required. 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a live event / event management setting. Experience with computer systems/programs desired. Experience with student internship/work programs, and student programming desired.
