Well established Kansas City Northland home builder is seeking a bookkeeper to join our company. You will maintain the accounting records during the construction of new single-family homes.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable
- Keep track of construction bids
- Maintain certificates of insurance for all vendors
- Support the Accounting Manager
- Maintain high standards & professionalism in all aspects of the job
Qualifications
- Knowledge of QuickBooks/ QuickBooks Contractor is preferred
- Previous experience in construction accounting/work in progress accounting is preferred
- Efficient navigation of formulas & data entry in Microsoft Excel is preferred
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Reliable & dependable
- Self-Motivated & efficient
- Excellent communication skills
