We're seeking a Brand Design Lead to develop creative strategy that empowers the next generation of creators and tinkerers. You'll lead Replit's first brand studio, working with a scrappy, multi-disciplinary team to elevate every expression of our identity across web, marketing, and product.
What You'll Do
Lead brand strategy and creative direction across all touchpoints
Manage expansive brand systems across web, marketing, and product
Create unique campaigns and visual experiences that communicate our values and capabilities
Plan and execute large projects with multiple workstreams through entire project lifecycle
Continue producing creative work while managing other creatives
Build coherent creative narratives that bridge creative and business objectives
Facilitate culture of critique and push creative boundaries
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of creative industry experience across multiple disciplines (agencies, in-house, ventures)
4+ years in Creative Direction or design leadership
Formal education in design, fine art, or computer science
Diverse portfolio showcasing brand systems, interactive web/digital, strategy, and art direction
Systems-thinking mindset with high standards for quality and craftsmanship
Strong strategic insights and ability to articulate design decisions to stakeholders
Genuine interest in our industry and mission with clear point of view on design and technology

Multi-platform campaign experience and influencer collaboration
Audience research and testing experience
UI design and usability principles knowledge
Network of trusted collaborators
Adjacent skills in motion, photography, copywriting, or coding
