Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests during breakfast hours. This role involves meal preparation, food handling, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The Breakfast Attendant will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and presentation of the breakfast offerings while ensuring guest satisfaction.
Duties
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area, including food stations and beverage stations.
- Ensure all food items are fresh, properly stored, and presented attractively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area throughout service.
- Provide excellent guest relations by greeting guests warmly and assisting with their needs.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently when necessary.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Address any guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines in food handling and preparation.
- Utilize Aloha POS or OpenTable systems for order processing when applicable.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Proficiency in phone etiquette for guest interactions.
- Experience with meal preparation is a plus.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or OpenTable systems is advantageous but not required.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
