Job: Business Analyst III / Business Systems Analyst

Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst to support documentation and enhancement efforts for an existing enterprise application. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator capable of bridging the gap between business users and technical teams.
Skill / Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required – preferably in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in software or content publishing environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proven experience with Confluence, Jira, and documentation best practices.
- Experience writing technical requirements based on business needs.
- Strong time management and organizational skills; capable of handling multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently without direct application access.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycles and Agile methodologies.
- Highly self-motivated with a proactive attitude and strong sense of ownership.
- Experience working in global, cross-functional teams.
- Adaptable and flexible in navigating complex projects and organizational structures.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with support teams and end users to understand current system workflows and processes.
- Review, enhance, and restructure existing documentation within a new Confluence site.
- Ensure that system documentation is comprehensive, user-friendly, and accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Conduct interviews with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for system enhancements.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
- Use Jira to manage and groom user stories and maintain traceability throughout the development lifecycle.
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, support, and development teams.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and review meetings.
- Facilitate communication to ensure alignment and shared understanding across teams.
- Coordinate and support system testing activities.
- Provide post-deployment support to ensure successful adoption and functionality of enhancements.
- Serve as a consultative partner to business users and support staff.

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
