Job Title: Bytes Student Dishwasher, F25-S26
Reports to: Dustin Nick
Key Responsibilities:
– Run dirty dishes through the dishwashing machine
– Put away clean dishes
– Wipe down café tables
– Bring back dirty tray from the café
– Check trash in kitchen & café (take out as necessary)
– Sweep & mop as needed
Competencies and further details:
- Be clean and detail oriented
- Be fast and efficient
- Always come in on time and ready to work
- Must possess a WA Food Worker Card or obtain one within the first week of working - DigiPen will cover the associated costs
- No experience needed - training will be provided
- PPE will be provided to you, including non-slip shoes
- You will receive one meal per shift
Expected dates of employment: August 25, 2025 – August 9, 2026
Expected number of hours per week: Up to 20

DigiPen Student Employee Academic Requirements:
- Are currently a Matriculated student at DigiPen Institute of Technology
- Good Academic Standing – not on Academic Warning as defined in DigiPen Course Catalog
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
Requirement Exceptions:
It is possible to still be selected for a position with DigiPen if you do not meet the requirements above, so don't let that dissuade you from applying!
Once you have applied for – and the supervisor decides to offer you – a position, we will contact the necessary managers (Supervisor, Department Chair, and/or the Dean of Faculty) to complete and sign off on an Academic Waiver form, depending on which requirements need to be waived. Once the Waiver is returned to us, we'll continue you through the hiring process.
